We all know there is a lot that will eventually be coming to the Magic Kingdom between Piston Peak and Villains Land! We’ve recently read reports about some big changes that are already happening with Disney World’s Villains Land, and now we have even MORE to share with you.

Well, Disney just filed updated wastewater management plans for the Magic Kingdom’s massive expansion, and the updated version of the documents shows a big change. The largest building in Villains Land has just gotten even BIGGER than it appeared in previous plans that were filed weeks ago.

Planning guide for the ultimate Disney vacation

There hasn’t been much confirmed by Disney regarding plans for the new land, but the largest building in Villains Land is believed to be a major dark ride attraction (and we mean MAJOR). Crazy enough, that major dark ride now appears even bigger in the updated plans filed with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection for “Project SNK.”

Take a look at the new updated plans! You’ll see the biggest building, the one in the top right corner, is thought to be the dark ride that has been getting tons of hype.

It was reported that in the original wastewater plans, filed recently in late January, the building was measured at approximately 70,000 square feet. Obvioulsy wastewater plans aren’t the most accurate representations of building sizes, especially since we haven’t gotten much word on the land. So take the sizing with a grain of salt. What is true is that within the same type of plan, it is notable that the size increased, no matter how big or small.

The building size increase does match what we learned in recent reports, which said the possible creative decorations that Villains Land is headed in. Again, nothing was officially confirmed by Disney. That being said, the report said that the Maleficent attraction is now being designed as an indoor water-based ride. A ride meant to rival the likes of Rise of the Resistance in size and complexity. So, the building’s size increase could prove to show how much they want to put into this attraction.

We’re going to be watching news surrounding Villains Land like a hawk (or maybe we should be watching it like a raven). We can’t wait for more of this to unfold, which we’re pretty positive won’t happen until the D23 Expo in August. Still, we are beyond excited for this new land and the plans Disney may have for it.
