Every year, Disneyland closes “it’s a small world” for a limited time to retheme it for the holidays, and then closes it again after the season to return it to its regular version.
“it’s a small world”
The attraction closed to remove its holiday overlay on January 26th, but it was up in the air on when the attraction would open again. Fortunately, now we have our answer, because hours are showing beginning February 6th on the Disneyland website and app!
Currently, there are no hours showing between today and February 5th, but the attraction shows hours from 8 AM to 12 AM on Friday, February 6th.

This means the attraction will go back to its former version, which is the regular theming, minus all the holiday decorations. We know that it’s a bummer to miss out on one of your favorite attractions while you’re visiting, especially if you’ve got younger kiddos who can’t ride everything. Here’s a brief list of some of our other attractions in Disneyland Park that are family-friendly for you to check out on your trip before “it’s a small world” reopens!
Alice in Wonderland
Astro Orbiter
Autopia in Disneyland
Buzz Lightyear’s Astro Blasters
Casey Jr. Circus Train
Dumbo
Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage
King Arthur Carrousel
Storybook Land Canal Boats
Peter Pan’s Flight
Pinocchio’s Daring Journey
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
