If you’re heading to Universal Orlando’s Epic Universe soon, we’ve got a change to warn you about.

Monsters Unchained

As you may be aware, Universal Orlando visitors staying at Universal hotels or Universal Premier Annual Passholders can get early entry into Epic Universe one hour before the park officially opens. This gives you the opportunity to ride attractions with lower wait times. However, if you’ve been trying to make plans for early entry at Epic Universe, we’ve got a warning…it’s changed…AGAIN.

Previously, early entry from February 1st through February 28th would include select participating attractions (Universal never determined which rides were included, but it’s a case of “find out when you get there) in the following Epic Universe locations:

Isle of Berk

Now, though, the information on the Universal Orlando website has changed for February 9th through March 31st. The Epic Universe attractions now included for that time period are:

  • Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry
  • Hiccup’s Wing Gliders
  • Viking Training Camp
  • Dragon Racer’s Rally
  • Toothless Meet & Greet – Entertainment
  • Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge
  • Mine-Cart Madness
  • Yoshi’s Adventure

Curse of the Werewolf

So yes, the updated list currently includes Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry. However, some rides are missing that were available previously, including Stardust Racers and Constellation Carousel, as well as both attractions in Dark Universe: Monsters Unchained and Curse of the Werewolf.

Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment

So if you’ll be visiting Universal Orlando during that time, you’ll want to keep these early entry hours in mind if you’ll be eligible to use them. Of course, these are subject to change at any time (and believe us, they change OFTEN), so you want to make sure you keep an eye on the Universal Orlando website to stay updated on what’s available.

We’ll keep an eye out for a change in early entry attractions, too, so stay tuned to Magical Guides for updates.
