We have some awesome travel news today – American Airlines is expanding its Los Angeles routes beginning this spring. The airline will offer new daily nonstop flights to LAX year-round.

American Airlines is launching the new flight paths from LAX to Cleveland Hopkins International Airport and Washington Dulles International Airport. Flights will start on April 7th, with booking available on January 26th.
American Airlines says the new routes are part of its plan to strengthen its domestic flight network and meet busy summer travel demands. Los Angeles will have a busy year in 2026, with April’s Coachella music festival, Universal Studios’ Fast & Furious expansion, and eight of the FIFA World Cup games held at SoFi Stadium in June. American is launching 145 departures a day to account for this summer’s high demand.

American Airlines currently serves more than 85 airports from Los Angeles, the largest of any airline. Some of their already established routes are major cities and airline hubs, notably:

In addition to Los Angeles’ new summer events, nearby Disneyland is offering a kids ticket deal where children ages 3 to 9 get a one-day park-hopper ticket for only $50 a day. There’s also a Disneyland hotel discount where guests with a stay of four nights or longer will get 25% off their room.
