Orlando International Airport (MCO) remains one of the busiest in the U.S. due to its proximity to major attractions like Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando Resort. However, not all terminals there are the same.

I've been flying through MCO for decades, but my experience with the newly expanded Terminal C was a revelation, even catching me off guard—a sentiment echoed by my colleagues.

Opened in 2022, this sizable terminal boasts 20 gates, primarily serving international flights and JetBlue. It's not just another terminal; its design and amenities make it a standout at MCO.

One of the first things that impressed us was the noticeable reduction in noise. The terminal’s architecture, combined with its soothing background music, makes it feel more tranquil than any other terminal we’ve visited.

Terminal C also boasts diverse shopping and dining options, emphasizing local favorites like Barnie’s Coffee & Tea Co. and Orlando Brewing Bar & Bites, among others.

For last-minute souvenirs, you’ll find expansive Disney World and Universal Orlando stores within the terminal. Terminal C also connects to the Orlando Brightline station for easy access to South Florida.

The only thing missing for us? The iconic MCO carpet. A trip isn't quite the same without it.

Next time you travel through MCO, give Terminal C a try. It's truly transformative and enhances your airport experience exponentially!
