We visit Disney World often, so we've become experts at packing for the park.
We will take a room in the Castle, please!
Whether it's winter, early summer, mid-summer, or late summer (let's be honest, Orlando doesn't have four seasons), we're ready for the weather, crowds, and any other park conditions. But, truth be told — people might judge you for packing certain items for your trip.

Reusable Straws
Let's start with reusable straws. We love having these, as most places in Disney World provide paper straws. Sure, they might seem silly with your Starbucks cup, but you'll appreciate them when they don't dissolve halfway through your drink. This kit from Amazon includes carrying cases and cleaning tools.
Reusable Utensils
Similarly, pulling out your reusable utensil set may get you odd glances, but they're incredibly handy, especially during EPCOT festivals. You won't have to hunt for utensils or remember to grab them at quick-service spots. Keep a set in your bag and snack away!
Neck Fans
Yes, neck fans can look dorky, but when it's 100 degrees with 80% humidity, staying cool matters more than looks. These fans keep airflow on your face, making them a summer park bag essential. Just keep your hair up to avoid tangles.
Reusable Snack Bags
If you indulge in park snacks like we do, you'll find reusable snack bags handy. People might think it's odd to prepare for leftovers, but then you can enjoy treats back in your hotel room. Savor your snacks by using reusable snack bags.
An Alarm Clock/Sound Machine
Hotel rooms can be quite noisy, particularly in main buildings or when kids need a midday nap. That's why we bring a sound machine and alarm clock combo. If you use a sound machine at home, it'll make sleeping in unfamiliar places more peaceful.
Bath Bombs/Shower Steamers
Bringing bath bombs or shower steamers to a theme park vacation might seem odd. But after intense days in the park, it's a soothing treat for the end-of-day shower, like lavender shower steamers that help you unwind.
Sweatshirts
It might seem strange to bring sweatshirts to the park, especially during warm midday weather. Yet, Disney World can get surprisingly cold at night in winter, and a jacket can be a lifesaver. Trust us, packing one saves you from gift shop buys.
These are the items people might judge for bringing to Disney World, but you'll be glad you did! We've done this a lot, and we'll keep you updated on packing tips. Stay tuned to DFB.
