Universal Orlando's Epic Universe early previews for Annual Passholders started on April 17th. While we enjoyed a previous media event, our passholder enthusiasm tempted us back. Interestingly, even though preview tickets sold out, the park didn't feel overwhelmingly crowded, especially the Celestial Park area. However, things got busier near Super Nintendo World, although the escalators heading there weren't packed.
In areas like How To Train Your Dragon — Isle of Berk, the crowds were scarce earlier in the day, perhaps suggesting that Universal is keeping attendance levels low for these previews. As time went on, we saw the park become busier, with some ride wait times climbing, like Mine-Cart Madness jumping from 20 to 135 minutes!
This gives a snapshot of Epic Universe during a sold-out preview day. We’ll keep sharing more updates.
