Some of our favorite Disney World snacks have disappeared, and we're not too happy about it.

Two snack hubs in Disney’s Animal Kingdom have revamped their menus, and we’re not sure the replacements measure up. We’re talking about those long-loved nibbles, the ones you counted on — now suddenly removed. Let's dive into what's happened at Eight Spoon Cafe and Smiling Crocodile, and why the new vibes aren't exactly what we were hoping for.

### Eight Spoon Cafe Dropped Its Heart-Winning Mac & Cheese

A favorite stop for quick, filling bites, Eight Spoon Cafe was known for its baked mac & cheese — classic, with pulled pork, or barbacoa beef.

But recently, it removed all these options:

- Barbacoa Beef on Baked Macaroni & Cheese
- Baked Macaroni & Cheese with Pulled Pork
- Baked Macaroni & Cheese (even the plain one)
- Mickey Pretzel with Cheese
- Churro
- Assorted Chips
- Nestlé Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Sandwich
- Nestlé Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Bar

Now, also gone are the two iconic Mickey-shaped ice creams, ending the perfect mac & cheese and ice cream duo. In exchange, we get:

- **Smoked Chicken Wings:** Three wings with tangy BBQ sauce, house-made chips, and pickles for $7.99
- **Pulled Pork Sliders:** Pulled pork with BBQ sauce on Hawaiian rolls with chips and pickles, also $7.99

They’re not bad choices, but we can’t help but feel a tad disappointed.

### Smiling Crocodile Turns into a Mac & Cheese Spot

Smiling Crocodile has swapped out its varied offerings for—surprise, surprise—mac & cheese. Here's what got axed:

- Barbacoa Nachos
- Chicken Street Tacos
- Street Corn Tacos
- Chips, Salsa, and Queso

These items had their own charm, bringing flavor diversity to the table, but now they’ve been replaced by:

- **Baked Macaroni & Cheese with Buffalo Chicken:** Topped with ranch, $9.99
- **Baked Macaroni & Cheese with Garlic Smoked Sausage:** Also $9.99
- **Plain Baked Macaroni & Cheese:** $7.99

It feels like we've traded in variety for redundancy. Sure, mac & cheese has its fans, but was the sacrifice worth it?

At Disney World, menus are always in flux, so keep an eye on the Disney World website for updates. We'll keep sharing any changes, so stay tuned for fresh news.

What do you think—are we overreacting, or do these changes really matter? We’d love to hear your thoughts!
