Disney World has added two exciting shows to Hollywood Studios, and while we love fresh attractions, this means rethinking our park strategy. "The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure" has opened, complete with a Lightning Lane queue option. But is it worth selecting? Let's weigh the options!

Currently, "The Little Mermaid" isn't available as a Lightning Lane pick but will be in about a month. The standby line hit 80 minutes on its first day, which is a hefty wait for a 20-minute show. There are several showings daily, so skipping the line might not be necessary unless those long waits persist.

Of course, Slinky Dog Dash, the Tower of Terror, and Toy Story Mania! are always high on our Lightning Lane list because they draw big crowds and often have long waits. It’s essential to prioritize based on your must-see attractions and the time you’ll save by skipping the lines.

Hollywood Studios also offers other live shows like "Beauty and the Beast — Live on Stage" and the new "Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After," broaden your entertainment options.

Would you reserve "The Little Mermaid" as a Lightning Lane selection? Share your thoughts, and let’s discuss strategy!
