Heads up! An upcoming Disney World refurbishment might disrupt your 2026 vacation plans at certain hotels.
Disney’s Pop Century Resort is one of several on the list.
In January 2026, an important refurbishment will affect four different hotels over a brief period. The Disney Skyliner will be temporarily closed for refurbishment from January 25th to 31st.
The Skyliner connects Disney’s Art of Animation, Pop Century, Riviera, and Caribbean Beach Resorts with EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Although these hotels will mainly be impacted, Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, Beach Club Resort, and the BoardWalk Inn are also within walking distance of the EPCOT Skyliner station.
During the Skyliner shutdown, Disney will provide complimentary bus services, but consider this when booking your stay.
