Can you believe EPCOT has been without Test Track for almost a year? It originally shut down in June 2024 for an extensive re-theme and is expected to reopen in late summer 2025. It's quite an undertaking, much like Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in Magic Kingdom, which also faces a year-long refurbishment. But what's taking so long with Test Track, you ask? Let's dig in!

Disney's introducing fresh show scenes highlighting technological strides and mobility connections, with a completely new ride interior and updated queue exhibits. The ride vehicles will be revamped, drawing inspiration from the classic World of Motion rides. Talk about a makeover! Alongside the interior, the ride's exterior is getting a significant facelift, meaning almost everything is going to be overhauled.

Despite the tantalizing concept art, Disney is keeping tight-lipped about the specifics of the new version. However, the scale of this project suggests a comprehensive transformation, requiring time to perfect. I can't wait to see the final product!

What are your thoughts on this long-awaited re-theme? Why do you think it's taking this long? Share your thoughts and join the conversation!
