Most Disney World restaurants and attractions have reopened after the 2020 closures, but if you look closely, some remain closed, and it's uncertain if they will ever return.

Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort

Tables in Wonderland hasn't resurfaced, Restaurant Marrakesh in EPCOT has been closed for quite some time, and we can't forget the elegant tea service once offered at the Garden View Tea Room. With a new tea service at Disney, will this one make a comeback?

The Garden View Tea Room served British-style afternoon tea daily, offering beautiful garden views. Reservations were highly recommended.

Grand Floridian Afternoon Tea

There were two services before closure: the Afternoon Tea for adults and older kids, and the Perfectly Princess Tea Party for younger ones. Led by “Rose Petal,” the tea party included stories, songs, a princess parade, and a visit from Sleeping Beauty.

The Perfectly Princess Tea Party was quite costly, offering various gifts and memories. Pricing was:

- One adult and one child (aged 3-9): $333.64
- Additional child (aged 3-9): $234.08
- Additional guest (aged 10+): $98.66

Grand Floridian Tea Offerings

The Garden View Tea Room was missed by many. Numerous tea service options were available, including Mrs. Potts’ tea for kids!

Menu

Prices per person varied from about $35 to $50, and each package included a selection of small bites.

Grand Floridian Afternoon Tea

Will it return? It's tough to say. The new Cake Bake Shop at Disney’s BoardWalk, offering a lavish tea service, may fill its niche.

Afternoon Tea Tray

The Cake Bake Shop offers the Roses of Gold Afternoon Tea for $95 for adults and $65 for kids 9 and under. Though impressive, it might not be everyone’s cup of tea.
