Disney World has evolved significantly over the years. Some believe it's for the better, while others feel nostalgic for earlier park experiences.

One major change occurred due to COVID-19 in 2020, leading to an extended closure. Since reopening, we've observed limited capacity adjustments, the introduction of park pass reservations, and the gradual return of live entertainment. Despite most operations returning to normal, there's one popular attraction still missing: the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.

Disney Springs has undergone many updates, with new restaurants opening like Summer House on the Lake and eet by Maneet Chauhan, alongside some store changes. However, the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique remains absent from the lineup.

Disney World features three Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique locations for children to get transformed into their favorite Disney princesses, Encanto characters, knights, and more. However, since 2020, only the location in Magic Kingdom has reopened, while the others at Disney Springs and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa remain closed.

The boutique provides a magical experience, giving kids makeovers with outfits, hairstyles, makeup, and accessories, perfect for capturing memorable photos.

At Magic Kingdom, the basic makeover package costs $99.95, while the most expensive option is $450 and includes a Signature Disney Princess gown and additional accessories. A special Encanto package is priced at $179.95, and there's a Knight Package available for $19.95, which includes hairstyling and a sword and shield.

Reservations at the Magic Kingdom location can be difficult to secure, but occasional walk-up availability has been noted, so it's worth checking during your visit.

It's unclear why the other locations remain closed—potentially due to staffing challenges or future plans—but fans are eager for updates. Notably, a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique recently opened on Disney's newest cruise ship, Treasure, suggesting ongoing commitment to the experience, leaving hope for the reopening of both Disney Springs and Grand Floridian locations in the future.
