A new nighttime parade, Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away, is arriving at Magic Kingdom this year, and we couldn't be more thrilled!
However, along with other upcoming changes—like Tom Sawyer Island and the Liberty Square Riverboat closing for a Cars-themed land, the new Villains Land behind Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and the Pirates Tavern in Adventureland—this parade brings some concerns.
With ongoing construction, we anticipate blockages around the parade route, especially in popular spots like Frontierland and Liberty Square. As nighttime parades typically draw bigger crowds, securing a good spot near the castle or Frontierland will require arriving early.
A fresh parade with a different theme might impact the Festival of Fantasy Parade as we know it, although nothing's confirmed. Since evening crowds in Magic Kingdom are likely to increase, this could affect overall park wait times.
