It's about to be lights out for a beloved attraction... Disney sent waves across the theme park world last year by revealing plans for a new Monsters, Inc. area in Hollywood Studios. This upcoming development, including the highly-anticipated door coaster, means saying farewell to the cherished Muppet Courtyard and the iconic Muppet*Vision 3D.

The 3D film, launched in 1991, was intended as the cornerstone of an expansive Muppet Studios land. Sadly, the passing of Jim Henson during its production halted those dreams. Despite this, Muppet*Vision 3D became a favorite, adored for its humor and hidden gems. Understandably, fans are flocking to give it a proper send-off before its last showing on June 7th, alongside the closure of PizzeRizzo. Mama Melrose's will be closing slightly earlier on May 10th.

While it's a bittersweet moment for Muppet enthusiasts, the beloved characters aren't disappearing. They'll soon rock out in a newly revamped Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster experience, promising laughs, music, and plenty of themed merch!
