Where to buy Disney Gift Cards?

I often see folks in the Disney Facebook Groups discussing gift cards on special etc...
Does saving 5-10 dollars on gift cards really add up?

Where do you buy Disney gift cards?

I like to buy my gift cards from Sam's Club online. Since several scams happen with the cards on the shelf, this avoids those issues

I know that a number of folks also like Target due to the fact that can save like 5% off the list price.
Usually, when I renew my annual pass, I will start buying a $500 gift card for $484.98.

My annual pass renewal after discount is $1402 (photopass and sports addons $99 each). So I need 3 gift cards totaling 1454.94.
So I'm saving less than $50, but I'm getting $1500 worth of value. Is it worth it to buy discounted gift cards? Every dollar counts, and I've tried to pick the areas I go frugal in - so I have to buy 2 a year (@Bayley) needs her AP as well, yielding just about $100 savings.

Great advice; we are looking at slowly stockpiling some for our next trip, which is soon. we have a club membership to BJ's and Sam's so we are going to see who has some on sale.

I like the gift card patterns at Disney World a bit more - so I usually will pick up some small denomination ones from there, and start to move the ones I buy from Sam's at discounted prices. Since I saw you like Fort Wilderness, you might get a kick out of this pic I just snapped when I was walking around there the other day!
