The Disneyland EVENT OF THE YEAR is almost here! The Disneyland Resort is gearing up for a significant year before diving into its massive expansion. If you're planning a trip to the "Happiest Place on Earth" in 2025 or 2026, get ready for a year-long celebration packed with exciting events!
Starting May 16th, 2025, Disneyland Resort marks its 70th anniversary with festivities lasting until summer 2026. Look forward to the return of beloved parades, limited-time shows, stunning decorations, themed food and drinks, exclusive merchandise, and more!
We'll see favorites like the "Paint the Night" parade brighten up Main Street, U.S.A., and the "Wondrous Journeys" spectacle featuring projection effects and fireworks. Mickey Mouse and friends will sport special outfits, and new characters from Coco will join "it's a small world."
July 17th, Disneyland's official birthday, brings the exciting new show, "Walt Disney — A Magical Life!" showcasing Walt's journey with the addition of the first-ever Walt Disney animatronic. Don’t miss the interactive Pixar Pals Playtime Party and Stitch’s Interplanetary Beach Party Blast, both beginning May 23rd.
The fun continues at Disney California Adventure with a new "World of Color" show, "World of Color Happiness!" featuring Joy and other characters from Inside Out. The "Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration!" parade returns alongside an all-new "Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live!" show. Plus, Toy Story Midway Mania! will have exciting updates.
