While Disney’s Animal Kingdom has no shortage of fascinating creatures, some of our favorites can be found at EPCOT.
Have you caught sight of the bustling aquarium in The Seas with Nemo and Friends? Recently, the manatee exhibit there reopened, introducing two new residents—Cider and Mino! Cider, the 770-pound manatee, is on the mend from a neck wound and is on track for a warm return to the wild once recovered. Mino, meanwhile, is a young two-year-old who’s working on reaching her ideal weight before heading back home. Both are enjoying good meals in their current home!
Though you might miss them when they're gone, Disney's effort to rehabilitate and return these gentle giants to their habitat is truly heartwarming. It's also exciting to know that they’re caring for two more male manatees, who might make appearances in the future.
