We're absolutely buzzing with excitement about the new Epic Universe ride, and we haven't even experienced it yet!
Epic Universe features five themed lands: Celestial Park, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, and Dark Universe. We had the chance to explore the park early and are thrilled to share our impressions of the incredible queue for Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry.
The latest addition to Universal Orlando, the Ministry of Magic, enriches The Wizarding World of Harry Potter alongside Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley. One of its highlights is the new ride, Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry, which boasts a height requirement of 40 inches.
Even though the ride isn't open yet, the queue blew us away. Traveling via the Floo Network, you'll be transported from 1920s wizarding Paris to the British Ministry of Magic in the 1990s, where the trial of Dolores Umbridge awaits. The immersive experience includes spectacular rooms filled with dynamic visuals and even Umbridge’s cat-filled office, which we found simply stunning.
Though we couldn't ride yet, we're eager to join Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Higgledy, navigating Ministry lifts and dodging Death Eaters. We'll encounter the Magical Archives, the Department of Magical Creatures, and the iconic Time Room. It's bound to be an adventure!
