EPCOT truly is the ultimate spot for Disney World snacks. You could eat there daily and always find something new to enjoy.

When you first enter EPCOT and take a left past Spaceship Earth, you’ll find Connections Eatery. It's a fantastic stop before you dive into the World Showcase, allowing you to fuel up before moving on to snack after snack. Recently, we tried two new dishes there, and we're sharing all the delicious details so you can decide if it's time to snag a park reservation.

We started with the Peruvian Salad priced at $11.29. It's packed with field greens, sweet potatoes, avocado, chuclo, onions, sweety drop peppers, canchita, and a spiced sesame vinaigrette. This plant-based option is a delightful mix of flavors and textures. The roasted sweet potatoes add a hearty texture, and while the avocado was a bit too soft for our liking, the fresh flavor was a nice touch. The chuclo, or Peruvian corn, is chewy, while the canchita provides a crunch with a roasted taste. The sweety drop peppers were a standout, popping with freshness and enhancing the dish. We enjoyed the slightly sweet, summery vinaigrette and will keep this salad in mind when we're craving something light and refreshing at Disney World.

Of course, a visit wouldn't be complete without dessert, so we also tried the Belgian Chocolate Gelato Shake for $7.49. This might just be our shake for the summer! It's creamy, rich, and not overly sweet, hitting all the right notes for a chocolate shake. Its silky texture and deep chocolate flavor make it one we'll definitely be having again.

Should you try these two new delights at Connections? Absolutely! The salad is a flavorful plant-based options, and you can never go wrong with a chocolate shake of this caliber.
