EPCOT is not just about its renowned festivals and rides; if you're missing out on the food, you're missing the essence! Recently, we delved into six underrated EPCOT snacks and didn’t leave disappointed. With choices ranging from savory to sweet, everyone finds something delightful here. Let’s check out the treats that made it onto our list.
First, the Café Liégeois from Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie is a coffee mousse layered with whipped cream and chocolate cake crumbles. Although we wished for more cake for balance, the smooth flavor and crunchy pearls on top were a win. Next, the Tarte au Citron hit hard with bold, almost lemonade-like tartness balanced with sweet meringue. Its surprising soft crust made it memorable for us lemon lovers.
At the American Adventure Pavilion, the Pretzel Nuggets with Beer Cheese stood out. Soft pretzel bites in garlic butter and BBQ rub, paired with a warm, but slightly scarce, house-made beer cheese dip made this a must-try.
From Tangierine Café, the Chermoula Chicken Kebab was the unexpected favorite. Grilled chicken spiced warmly with a hint of heat complemented by a garlic aïoli and a sweet carrot-chickpea salad made this an easy, on-the-go choice.
Connections Eatery's Black Garlic, Truffle, and Parmesan Fries are not your ordinary fries. Topped with rich black garlic-truffle aïoli and sharp parmesan, the fries remain crispy and addictive—a definite must-try if you love bold flavors.
Finally, the Churro Sundae from La Cantina de San Angel combined mango and lime Dole Whip with churro bites. Although the churros were tough, the refreshing flavor duo and fun presentation made it noteworthy.
