Disney has revealed the performers for Belle and the Beast in the new North American tour of Disney on Broadway's "Beauty and the Beast," and I must say, I'm quite thrilled about this exciting casting!
We now know when the tour starts and its city stops, plus the leading roles: Kyra Belle Johnson as Belle (sounds like destiny with that name, right?) and Fergie L. Philippe as the Beast, who happens to be an acquaintance!
It's the first Disney-produced North American tour of this classic in over 25 years, commencing this summer! The timing is impeccable if you're an EPCOT visitor—check out the "Once Upon a Stage: 30 Years of Disney on Broadway" exhibit at CommuniCore Hall before February 24th for a unique glimpse at Disney musicals' magical process.
