When can I check into the Swan/Dolphin/Swan Reserve?
Officially, your room will be ready by 4 p.m. However, if you arrive earlier and your room is prepared, they'll happily let you check in. Otherwise, they can store your bags until your room is available. You should be checked out by 11 a.m., but you can usually stretch that to noon without issues. Wanting a bit more time? A late checkout might be an option, depending on availability, and might come with a fee. Just ring the Front Desk the morning you leave to see what can be arranged.

For those with higher-tier Bonvoy status, don't be surprised if late check-out is not offered past 1 pm. This is one of the most popular places for elite Bonvoy members to go.

What are the transportation options at the Swan / Dolphin / Swan Reserve?

The location of these resorts is one of my favorites, as you're in the middle between EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. You can walk to each park, which is about a 10-15 minute walk, which can be helpful if you want to be the first ones in line for Early Entry.

You can also take a Friendship boat to both EPCOT or Disney's Hollywood Studio, where the best seat, in my opinion, is in the back.

To reach Magic Kingdom the official Swan and Dolphin buses will take you to the Ticket & Transportation Center, which you will then have to take a ferry, or Monorail.
A 5-minute walk to the Boardwalk and using their bus stop saves me 10-20 minutes, which is fantastic when you're trying to make rope drop.

You will get dropped off closer to the entrance than a Disney bus to reach Animal Kingdom.

Workout and Gym area for Disney's Swan

Right off the Swan pool, there is a gym with shower/locker access. While this is nice, the Dolphin gym appears to be used more. to access the gym, the access is from the outside of the resort. So if it's raining, you will have to walk under the covered paths.

Swan Reserve Appreciation

This is the newest of the three resorts. It's considered a part of the Marriott Autograph Collection® Hotels.
What does that mean?

Autograph Collection is an American group of independent upper-upscale to luxury hotels within the Marriott International portfolio.

The Swan Reserve is quite similar to the J.W. Marriott Orlando located in Bonnett Creek. However, the Swan Reserve has a better location than the J.W. Marriott.

If you plan to walk to anything, add about 5 minutes extra to anywhere you would. So, if it took you 15 minutes to walk to EPCOT from the Swan or Dolphin, it will now take you 20 minutes from the Swan Reserve.

Most rooms do not have a balcony at the Reserve.

The pool is much smaller but is located on the 3rd floor of the Reserve. It has the potential to get full, but you can also walk over to the Dolphin Grotto or Swan Pool, which is less than a 5-minute walk away. The Reserve pool does not have a hot tub or water slide.
