Let’s face it — not all Disney World hotels are created equal.

All-Star Movies

Disney World has three main hotel tiers — value, moderate, and deluxe — and each one has its own set of perks. Obviously, as the prices rise, the perks tend to get better — and that includes transportation options! While value resorts like the All-Star hotels have limited options, one of our recent stays helped us rediscover a favorite hack for getting to the theme parks faster!

Planning guide for the ultimate Disney vacation

First things first, if you’re planning a Disney World vacation soon, we’ve got the ultimate hack for you! Not only can you get our insider tips delivered to your inbox above, but we highly recommend reaching out to our friends over at Small World Vacations! These travel agents can take ALL of the stress out of planning your next Disney trip, and their services are totally free. Why not make your life easier?!

Disney World hotels now cost a small fortune for many fans, but the three All-Star Resorts tend to be the cheapest. Each resort area (split between Movies, Music, and Sports themes) is neighboring the other, and that can certainly help when it comes to navigation!

Disney bus for All-Star Music and Movies

First of all, just look at how close the All-Stars are to each other. The proximity means that each hotel shares bus transportation.

If you’re staying in a room far from a bus station like the Mighty Ducks section of All-Star Movies, all is not lost! There are some interesting options available to you.

Although it’s not on a traditional Disney path, all it takes is a quick walk through the parking lot if you opt for the stop at All-Star Music. After all, they share a bus anyway, so might as well take the most convenient path! Of course, be careful of moving cars and other dangerous obstacles — but we found this method to be way easier than using your hotel’s bus stop — and it can save a bunch of time.

It’s that easy!

The All-Star Resorts aren’t the only Disney World hotels that are spread out and require a decent walk to reach your room, either. Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort and Disney’s Port Orleans — Riverside are both notorious for long walks to transportation. The difference is that these resorts have multiple bus stops at each hotel.

No matter which hotel you choose, we highly recommend checking the closest bus stop to your room as soon as you check in and get settled. It might be a different one than you think! Our favorite way to do this is through the My Disney Experience app.

Disney World already requires you to walk SO many steps each day through the parks, so don’t walk any more than you have to! We want to hear from you if you’ve ever “cheated” the system like this before! In the meantime, keep following Magical Guides for more Disney World tips!
