We recently ventured over to The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers to try some newly introduced treats and see how they stack up against other bakery delights.
The Valentine's Day special, Amour de Macaron, priced at $14.99 and shaped like a heart, is a delightful surprise with its rose-flavored hint and abundant lemon curd. It's garnished with raspberries and jam for a sweet finish—perfect for spreading a little love.
Next up, the Chocolate Peanut Butter Mousse Pie, at $16.99, resembles a Reese's cup in mousse form with a rich, thick chocolate coat and airy peanut butter mousse. While it's indulgent, we wished it was a bit larger for the price.
Finally, a slice of seasonal Coconut Cake for $22.99 brings moist decadence, with layers of vanilla cake, icing, and coconut shavings. Although not our top favorite, coconut enthusiasts will surely revel in its flavors.
