Easter weekend is upon us, and Disney World is buzzing with activity!
Special treats await park visitors this holiday weekend, and the Easter Parade is a must-see along with a chance to greet Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny in Magic Kingdom. Don’t miss the Easter Egg displays at the Disney World Hotels either! But, a heads up: expect longer waits in lines.
The Lightning Lane Premier Pass is the priciest option to minimize wait times at Disney World but is overwhelmingly popular. Unlike the Multi Pass and Single Pass, the Premier version allows skipping lines at nearly all attractions in a park anytime you want. If you planned to use it this Easter weekend, you might need a backup plan.
As of April 18th, the Lightning Lane Premier Pass is completely sold out, with scant availability for the days following Easter. On April 19th, only EPCOT is open for a hefty $249 per person. From April 20th to 22nd, EPCOT, Animal Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios have openings, but Magic Kingdom is entirely booked. This surge means the Single and Multi Passes will also be in high demand. Remember to book in advance—at least 3 days prior for non-hotel guests and 7 days for hotel guests.
For those daunted by planning a Disney trip solo, the travel experts at Small World Vacations can ease your stress. They’ll keep an eye out for savings and offer tips for a magical vacation.
