Exciting news for Los Angeles! The Los Angeles City Council has given the green light for an 18-story expansion at the Hilton Los Angeles/Universal City Hotel. This new development will bring 395 additional guest rooms, along with three restaurants, a spa, an indoor/outdoor bar, and two pools. Meeting spaces and a parking garage are also part of the plan. This anticipated expansion is set on a 7.26-acre site and will increase the hotel's capacity to 890 guest rooms, totaling 696,609 square feet of space.
Mark Davis, the president and CEO of Sun Hill Properties Inc., has expressed that this expansion is crucial as Los Angeles gears up for the 2028 Olympic Games and aims to accommodate increasing numbers of tourists. The Hilton, already a favorite for visitors to Universal Studios Hollywood, will see its amenities and appeal greatly enhanced.
Don't forget that Universal Studios Hollywood is also undergoing a major transformation. Their ambitious Universal Evolution Plan includes the addition of new attractions and hotels, promising more exciting developments in the area.
