It's almost time to get excited for Epic Universe at Universal Orlando Resort!
Universal's latest theme park, opening on May 22, 2025, will feature new lands, including How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, Super Nintendo World, and Dark Universe. We've got the latest scoop, and it's making us all thrilled!
Super Nintendo World will consist of Super Mario Land and Donkey Kong Country. New highlights include The Bubbly Barrel, a giant barrel offering sweet and refreshing banana-themed treats and drinks — fingers crossed! Although the menu is still under wraps, we're eager for its release. Funky's Fly ‘n’ Buy, a new shopping spot next to The Bubbly Barrel, will offer souvenirs and apparel in a jungle market setting. Plus, visitors can meet the iconic Donkey Kong within his treehouse, among other exciting interactions in the park.
We've spotted progress in Donkey Kong Country, including the anticipated Mine Cart Madness coaster. Super Nintendo World will also feature a Mario Kart ride, Yoshi adventure, and the chance to meet characters like Mario, Luigi, and Princess Peach. Interactive games will be available with the purchase of power-up bands—can't wait to try them out!
Beyond Super Nintendo World, Epic Universe is shaping up well. The Stella Nova Resort has already welcomed guests, and glimpses of new animatronics in Dark Universe and a sneak peek inside the Ministry of Magic are fuelling our anticipation.
We're anxiously counting down the days until this new park opens. Keep following for more updates. Share your excitement and what you're most looking forward to in Epic Universe! What features are you most eager to experience?
