Typhoon Lagoon is open once again! After being closed since November 2024, this Disney World water park is back, starting May 1st, 2025. If you've been eager to slide down Miss Adventure Falls or Crush ‘n’ Gusher, the wait is over.
Though Blizzard Beach is currently undergoing a brief renovation, great news awaits as both parks will welcome guests from May 21st for the summer season. Today's grand reopening of Typhoon Lagoon drew in eager crowds that quickly dispersed once the gates opened.
Upon entering, guests were greeted with a charming "Welcome Back!" note by Lagoona Gator, adorned with fun doodles. And who else to add to the excitement than Stitch himself, decked out in a lei, welcoming everyone back!
Visitors jumped into the cool waters without hesitation. With attractions like Gangplank Falls and Humunga Kowabunga, plus relaxing spots like the Surf Pool and Castaway Creek, there's something for everyone.
