Disney World parades are a common treat, but occasionally an exceptionally rare one pops up that we're eager to catch. Exciting news: you don’t even need a park ticket for this one! The **Port Orleans Mardi Gras Parade** is back, grander than ever.
This beloved annual golf cart parade features Disney Cast Members showcasing their creative flair as they decorate and parade carts along the Sassagoula River between Port Orleans Riverside and French Quarter. This year, the theme was The Magical Music of Disney, and it was a delightful experience for everyone involved.
Standout floats included a Mardi Gras-themed float, Moana-themed creation, a charming Princess and the Frog float with kissing frogs, a vibrant Coco float, and The Muppets' Electric Mayhem.
Sadly, you'll need to wait until next Mardi Gras to experience it, as it’s a once-a-year event.
