Finally, Disney World has simplified visiting three of its busiest resort spots.
The rumor mill churned recently about changes at Polynesian Village Resort: starting at 2 PM, non-resort guests can now park here when dining at spots that don’t require reservations. In the past, Disney hotels near Magic Kingdom have been notably strict with parking rules, making this a potential game-changer. Naturally, I had to see it for myself!
On a recent visit, a Cast Member confirmed the update: non-guests can now park when dining at these locales after 2 PM, space permitting. However, hotel guests' parking needs will always have the upper hand, especially during peak times like the holidays.
This new rule makes it easier to enjoy the likes of the Wailulu Bar & Grill, the inviting Tambu Lounge, or the timeless Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto.
While it's all subject to future changes, the convenience for visiting these iconic spots just increased. What are your thoughts on this policy change? Which of these Polynesian Village spots do you love most? Share your opinions below!
