Could this be an indication that regular character meet and greets are becoming a standard feature at Disney World hotels? We recently visited Disney's Port Orleans Resort — French Quarter and stumbled upon something quite intriguing. Unlike the usual sporadic or special occasion appearances, it looks like this hotel has a set schedule for character interactions.
Surprisingly, there's now a sign in the lobby with specific days and times for these magical meet-ups—Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, from 9:30 to 10:20 AM. While the opportunities may be brief, you might just catch a beloved character before heading out for the day.
This organized approach is a new twist, as character appearances have traditionally been more random. Could this be the start of seeing more structured character experiences across Disney World hotels? While it's not showing up in the My Disney Experience app yet, we're definitely staying tuned for updates.
What are your thoughts? Do you think Disney should make character meet and greets a regular occurrence at more hotels? Share your experiences or opinions down below!
