Securing dining reservations for your Disney World vacation can be quite the challenge.

Using the Disney World website or the My Disney Experience app requires you to book your restaurants 60 days in advance, and some fill up fast. Planning ahead can be tricky, but we have a tip involving a helpful app!

While the Disney website and My Disney Experience are primary booking routes, some non-Disney-owned restaurants can be reserved through OpenTable, a useful website/app.

OpenTable is widely used in metro areas across the U.S., and it also offers reservations for some Disney World dining spots. Often, even when they're fully booked on Disney's system, you might find availability on OpenTable for the same day.

Which spots can you snag through OpenTable? The Disney Springs favorites like Summer House on the Lake, Jaleo, City Works, Wolfgang Puck, The Edison, and more. Head over to the Swan and Dolphin hotels for Amare, Il Mulino, and Kimonos, also available on OpenTable.

Additional venues include The Cake Bake Shop at the BoardWalk, Rainforest Cafe at Animal Kingdom, and eateries at the Four Seasons Orlando and nearby hotels.

OpenTable provides more than reservations—it gives quick info on restaurants like ratings, popular menu items, price, and other details. Super handy!

Next time your Disney dining plans hit a bump, try OpenTable. You could discover a new favorite!
