Exciting things are unfolding at Disneyland as the resort gears up for its 70th anniversary! The grand celebration promises new ride updates, dazzling decor on Sleeping Beauty Castle and around the park, and the return of two beloved parades. Notably, the fan-favorite Paint The Night parade is back, but with a twist.
Set to return on May 16th at 8:45 PM and 10:45 PM, the parade will feature floats with a variety of Disney and Pixar characters. However, The Incredibles float is reportedly not coming back, replaced by the Frozen Fractals float for the first time since its debut!
Expect to see characters from Monsters, Inc., Cars, Toy Story, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, and more. Plus, you'll hear “When Can I See You Again” by Owl City, along with other Disney and Pixar hits, with a nod to the Main Street Electrical Parade.
The anniversary celebration kicks off on May 16th, continuing through 2026. Make sure to experience this magical milestone!
