Time to welcome the New Year!
It's hard to believe 2024 is almost over, and we're just hours away from 2025! There's so much to look forward to, and Disney sure knows how to celebrate! We're at the parks today checking out the crowds ahead of tonight's celebrations in EPCOT and Magic Kingdom.
If you're visiting the parks tonight or watching from home, both EPCOT and Magic Kingdom will welcome the New Year with DJs and fireworks; as usual, we expect big crowds.
When we arrived at the parks, it was a tale of two crowds. Tickets were back on sale and the lines to enter EPCOT were relatively low, but once inside, it was packed.
Spaceship Earth had a 65-minute wait. The highest wait time in EPCOT is Frozen Ever After at 140 minutes. Living with the Land had the shortest wait at 20 minutes.
The World Showcase was bustling. We started in Canada and found the pavilions jam-packed. This continued through the France pavilion. Guests might enjoy a glass of champagne that Disney offers for the occasion.
The crowd filled the walkway around the World Showcase lagoon and spilled into Morocco, feeling a bit claustrophobic. Crowds gathered towards the Japan pavilion and The American Adventure, with some already staking out spots for the fireworks.
There's much to see in the New Year at Disney World, and we'll keep you updated on all the latest Disney news, so stay tuned!
Will you visit Disney World in 2025? Let us know in the comments!
