On a gloomy day, after a whirlwind adventure through Disneyland Resort, we were in dire need of some sustenance. Fortunately, we stumbled upon a warm, welcoming spot — Red Rose Taverne — perfect for a cozy meal and a break from the dreary weather. Join us for some tasty discoveries at this charming eatery!

During our visit, we were tempted by the restaurant’s fresh additions to the menu. Curious if they're worth it? Let's dive in!

Red Rose Taverne introduced some intriguing new dinner options, such as three “Folds” reminiscent of a fancy take on Taco Bell’s Crunchwrap. Highlights include the Chicken Fantasyland Faire Fold and the Spicy version, each packed with a chicken patty, hash browns, cheese, white cheese sauce, and pickle aioli. We opted for the Burger Fantasyland Faire Fold, a delightful concoction of a flour tortilla filled with seasoned ground beef, hash browns, cheese, white cheese sauce, and burger sauce for $14.99. Pricy for a 'Crunchwrap,' yes, but that’s Disney magic for you.

The Burger Fold, in essence, felt like a cheeseburger embraced by a burrito wrap — imagine toasted tortilla, seasoned beef, cheddar, and a creamy cheese sauce fusion. The seasoning added a nice peppery zing, though the cheese duo might have been a tad overboard, overshadowing the other flavors.

For dessert, the Salted Caramel Butter Cake Sundae — featuring vanilla ice cream, salted caramel, and crunchy pretzel sticks for $8.49 — stole the show. While it perhaps lacked a fresh-out-of-the-oven warmth, the rich and harmonious mix of flavors made for an indulgent treat, elevated by the pretzel's salty crunch.

Our escapade to Red Rose Taverne was wonderfully satisfying, with standout new dishes that any Disney foodie should explore. What’s your take on these creative culinary concoctions? Would you be tempted to try them? Share your thoughts!
