Here at Disney Food Blog, there’s only one thing we love more than Disney food – Disney drinks! Grabbing an iced refresher on a hot day is our favorite guilty pleasure. And since there’s a Starbucks in all four parks and Disney Springs, they keep our caffeine addiction going from rope drop to fireworks.
Caramel Protein Latte
A lot of people don’t know that the Disney Starbucks has the same customizable menu as the Starbucks in your neighborhood. Plus, Disney Parks’ Starbucks often keeps seasonal flavors like pumpkin or caramel brûlée in stock when your local Starbucks runs out (they still had pumpkin spice lattes on New Year’s Day). The sky’s the limit!
When Starbucks released a new secret menu item, we had to try it at Disney World. It’s called a Cake Batter Latte, and reviews say it tastes exactly like cake batter! It can be ordered hot to warm up during the freeze, or iced to stay refreshed in the summer heat.
Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai
To order the cake batter latte in a Venti size (their large), ask for a Venti latte (hot or iced) with:
If you’re getting the iced version, ask for it stirred! The vanilla bean powder can get clumpy with ice if it’s not mixed well enough. For a grande size (their medium), it’s the same customizations but with only two pumps or scoops of each addition.
Iced Apple Crisp Nondairy Cream Chai
If you’re not feeling a cake batter latte, Starbucks just released some new drinks that we loved. They brought back their seasonal pistachio flavor with pistachio lattes and a new Dubai Chocolate Mocha, which is a chocolate mocha latte with a pistachio cold foam topping. We also tried the new Dubai Chocolate Matcha, which is a matcha green tea latte with pistachio sauce topped with a chocolate cold foam.
Iced Dubai Chocolate Matcha
And a fun fact, the cake batter latte at Disney Starbucks will be cheaper than your local Starbucks! Disney charges a flat rate for syrups, while one pump of syrup at your local Starbucks costs 80 cents each. We’re running to Disney to try the new cake batter latte! Stay tuned to Disney Food Blog for more Starbucks news.
