Before you start packing your favorite Minnie ears and deciding on your first Lightning Lane, you’ll probably want to figure out how you’re getting to the beautiful state of Florida for your next Disney World adventure. For many, this means booking flights to and from Orlando International Airport (MCO).

Southwest Airlines has just added new nonstop flights to MCO, which might make your Disney World trip a little quicker!

Southwest is launching new redeye flights from Las Vegas to Orlando starting February 14th. Additional nonstop flights include Las Vegas to Baltimore, Los Angeles to both Baltimore and Nashville, and Phoenix to Baltimore.

These overnight flights might have you reaching for an eye mask, but imagine the thrill of waking up in your vacation destination!

Southwest is also updating its seating policy. You'll now have assigned seats when you book your ticket, and pricier tickets will come with better boarding positions. This change will occur later this year, ending the 50-year tradition of open seating.

Flying Southwest? Don't hesitate to bring an extra bag for all those Disney souvenirs! They still offer two free bags per flight, making it easier to indulge in those extra pairs of ears and sweatshirts.
