Skip Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, I'm opting for 'Star Wars' glamping instead.

I have something to admit: I’m not a fan of camping. I avoid the outdoors unless it means visiting Disney World or Disneyland. My idea of "roughing it" is Animal Kingdom, so you won’t catch me setting up a tent at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. No, thank you.

But I recently discovered a glamping (glamorous camping) opportunity that's Star Wars-themed, and I’m intrigued—I REALLY want to go.

Outpost X in Beryl, Utah, offers glamping in an area reminiscent of Tatooine. You can rent a Tatooine-like cave with a kitchenette, heated blankets, and more, providing all home comforts while sleeping in a cave fit for a Star Wars fan.

There are also sand cruisers you can ride around the desert, a unique experience you can’t get at Disney. Outpost X offers a spa, trampolines, fire pits, and culinary experiences, with fully equipped kitchens waiting for you in your cave.

With a game room, a PS5 for playing Star Wars Outlaws, and a cantina offering a mocktail experience, this place feels like a dream vacation for a gamer like me.

You can even rent Star Wars costumes for the full experience or bring your own—perfect for photo opportunities.

The pricing at Outpost X is much more affordable than the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, making it a great option if you bring friends. Caves start at around $390 per night or rent the whole property for $5000 per night, with day passes also available.

If a one-of-a-kind Star Wars adventure is what you're after, consider glamping in Utah. See you there, and may the Force be with you. Stay tuned to DFB for more.
