Summer's almost here, and what better way to embrace it than with some tasty soft serve? Recently, while sheltering from a rainstorm, we headed over to Swirls on the Water in Disney Springs to try out a unique cone offering that's a must-add to your snack agenda!
Located in the Marketplace section of Disney Springs, Swirls on the Water serves delicious soft-serve options and Dole Whip—no park ticket required!
We indulged in the Salted Blue Corn Cone for $6.49 and chose a delightful swirl of lime and mango. The combination was reminiscent of sherbet, perfectly balancing the sweet and tart notes. Adding a bit of crunch, the cone was lined with sprinkles secured by chocolate.
How about the blue corn cone, you ask? It's visually stunning with a rich blue hue and has a subtle savory corn flavor. It carries that familiar corn taste similar to tortillas or popcorn, without being overpowering. It’s a refreshing twist on the usual soft-serve experience.
Trying a savory cone felt quite adventurous, yet the flavors remained comfortably familiar—ideal for family enjoyment. This treat certainly satisfies that ice cream craving while adding an exciting spin with its savory touch. Despite the name, the saltiness was moderate, perfectly complementing the ice cream.
With summer almost here, we're eager to taste all the new seasonal snacks at Disney World. Share your favorite soft-serve flavor with us in the comments! What do you think of combining sweet and savory in your ice cream? Would love to hear your thoughts!
