It's happening, everyone! One of the Universal Orlando hotels near Epic Universe has officially opened, and we're so excited to check it out!

Universal Stella Nova Resort, with its galaxy theme, is now open, and we've already visited to explore all the food options. Of course, we stopped by the Cosmos Cafe and Market for an out-of-this-world dining experience. Read on for our full review!

Atmosphere:

The quick service location has a space-inspired design, especially in the ceiling and walls, with a bright and welcoming vibe. It's not a huge dining area but offers enough seating, including booths and tables. If needed, you can find additional seating at the adjacent Market.

Menu:

Cosmos Cafe and Market serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, featuring American classics like burgers, paninis, fried chicken, and pasta.

Eats:

We sampled the Banana-Walnut Buttermilk Pancakes with caramelized bananas and walnuts. Though the pancake batter was a bit chewy, we loved the toppings! The Berry Pancake was also good, but we preferred the banana-walnut option. The Monkey Bread was perfectly cinnamony, though we wished for more cinnamon sugar ripples.

We weren't fans of the Stuffed Croissant because of the heavy cream cheese and jam filling.

For lunch, we tried the Hot Honey Chicken Pizza. The grilled chicken had a buffalo flavor without being too spicy, and the garlic cream sauce was a nice twist. Opinions were mixed on the sauce, so keep that in mind.

Nosh or Not:

Try Cosmos Cafe and Market if:
- You want a simple meal with variety.
- You’re looking for a quick bite.
- You like the convenience of dining at your hotel.

Skip it if:
- You want a more upscale dining experience.
- You seek unique options (consider exploring Universal Orlando park instead).
- You dislike twists on classic dishes.

We continually try new food at Universal and Disney. Stay tuned for more reviews on Magical Guides!
