We're stopping by EPCOT's Germany Pavilion to explore the Pastoral Palate Food Studio at the 2025 EPCOT Festival of the Arts!
Bavarian cuisine takes center stage at Pastoral Palate, one of the Festival’s Food Studios. We're reviewing EVERY Food Booth at the Festival, so it's time to indulge! Let's savor some bites and enjoy a Rosé at the Germany Pavilion!
The Pork and White Bean Cassoulet joins the menu as a new dish, alongside returning favorites: Red Wine-braised Beef Short Rib and Black Forest Cake.
Drink options include 3 Daughters Brewing Rosé Hard Cider, 81Bay Brewing Co. Rosé Blonde Ale, and Frozen Rosé. Sample all three with the A Play on Rosé Flight. Marietta Old Vine Rosé is also available.
Pastoral Palate, let's see what you've got!
The Pork and White Bean Cassoulet, priced at $7, is served with Regensburger Sausage and pork rinds. Described as a very thick chili, it lacked crispiness and complexity, making it less appealing.
We always look forward to the Red Wine-braised Beef Short Rib with parsnip purée, broccolini, baby tomatoes, and balsamic glaze. Priced at $8.75, it’s tender and flavorful, a strong contender next to the beef at the Canada pavilion.
The Black Forest Cake, featuring chocolate mousse with morello cherries and chantilly cream, is priced at $5.
Pastoral Palate returns with similar beverage offerings, including the A Play on Rosé Flight for $11.50.
The flight includes 3 Daughters Brewing Rosé Hard Cider, 81Bay Brewing Co. Rosé Blonde Ale, and Frozen Rosé. The standout is the Frozen Rosé.
Marietta Old Vine Rosé is available for $6.25.
We found the Pork and White Bean Cassoulet disappointing due to its mushiness and lack of flavor. However, the Red Wine-braised Beef Short Rib remains a favorite for its savory blend of sauce, vegetables, and mashed potatoes.
The Black Forest Cake is tasty if you're craving a chocolate-cherry dessert, and the Frozen Rosé shines among the drinks.
Thanks for visiting the Pastoral Palate! For more, check out our FULL reviews of EVERY. SINGLE. BOOTH. at the Festival of the Arts!
