Surprisingly, some of Disney World's best eats are accessible without a park ticket!

Disney Springs boasts an array of fantastic restaurants, offering something for every taste, whether you're after fine dining or a quick snack. We recently checked out an often overlooked counter-service gem, and we're eager to share our thoughts!

**Atmosphere**

At Pepe by José Andrés, you’ll find a welcoming and spacious counter-service eatery inspired by the chef’s renowned D.C. food truck. It’s nestled at the front of Jaleo in Disney Springs. With plenty of seating inside and out, Pepe is rarely overcrowded, so secured seats and short waits are typical.

**Menu**

Pepe serves up delicious Spanish dishes like "super flautas," fritters, gazpacho, and various burgers, along with beverages like sangria, beer, and wine.

**Eats**

Our meal began with the Pepe Burger, priced at $18, featuring Brasstown beef, American cheese, secret sauce, and piparra peppers. The burger, cooked medium well, was juicy and flavorful, with a crispy yet fluffy bun enhanced by a delightful sauce reminiscent of a complex Thousand Island dressing.

For a side, we opted for the $6 Patatas Bravas, offering soft yet crispy potatoes topped with chipotle-flavored brava sauce and creamy aioli.

For dessert, we enjoyed the delicious Xuixo and Torta de Catalana, showcasing rich, creamy fillings with subtle flavors.

**Drinks**

We tried the Red Sangria, a smooth, fruity beverage priced at $9, striking a perfect sweet balance with noticeable notes of orange and cranberry.

**Nosh or Not**

Consider Pepe if you want:
- A quick, less crowded dining option.
- An elevated taste experience sans the formal vibe.
- A casual alternative to Jaleo by José Andrés.

Perhaps skip Pepe if you prefer:
- A more formal dining experience.
- Non-Spanish dishes for picky eaters.
- A sandwich-free meal.

**Overall**

Pepe by José Andrés remains an underrated dining spot with exceptional food. Their burger rivals popular destinations, and both Patatas Bravas and desserts were hits. Would you add Pepe to your next visit to Disney Springs? Share your thoughts!
