Not all Disney World snacks are created equal. Some, like the cheeseburger spring rolls, have achieved a legendary status for good reason.
When novel versions of classic snacks debut, we always feel obliged to give them a try and report back. Recently at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, a new lunch box tart was launched, and we had to taste it for ourselves!
We visited Woody’s Lunch Box to try "The Clawwww! Lunch Box Tart" for $4.99. It's a key lime curd-filled pastry adorned with marshmallow fondant, sugar candy, sprinkles, and crispy pearls. Its adorable design really caught our eye, resembling a Toy Story Alien. Cute factor aside, did it hold up in taste?
Unfortunately, the tartness of key lime was missing and instead, it was overwhelmingly sweet. We hoped for a burst of tangy lime flavor, which we didn't find. The filling was sparse, making it mostly a pastry and marshmallow fondant experience.
If you're a fan of Woody’s lunch box tarts, you might want to check this out for the adorable appearance, but taste-wise, it may not be a hit.
