A new ice pop has made its debut at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and we couldn’t resist trying it out! Recently, Disney World has been a wild ride of emotions with some of our beloved snacks disappearing overnight and fresh new options taking center stage. If you're on the hunt for a sweet and refreshing snack to cool down with during the hot summer days, we’ve found just the treat for you!
During our adventure through Disney’s Animal Kingdom, amidst the thrill rides and delightful character encounters, we stumbled upon a surprise at the Discovery Island snack carts. A new item was calling our name, and it was the Frollies Watermelon Fruity Ice Pop, priced at $6 each. Resembling watermelon slices, these pops are a visual delight with chocolate 'seeds' adding an extra touch of fun.
Packed with flavor, the main portion offers a candy-like watermelon experience, while the chocolate seeds provide a surprising crunch. Interestingly, the green 'rind' packs a punch with its sour green apple flavor—a delightful twist from the typical ice pop. These treats stand up fairly well to the sun, making them a practical choice for those looking to avoid a melty mess.
