When that sweet craving hits, we're dashing over to Disney's BoardWalk Inn! The BoardWalk is home to some of our favorite spots, like Trattoria al Forno and Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs, but it's the delectable cakes and pies that truly stand out. Close to EPCOT is The Cake Bake Shop Bakery. On our recent visit, we opted for a slice of pie instead of cake, diving into their Chocolate Peanut Butter Mousse Pie Cup for $15.
The pie features a Belgian chocolate cookie crust, a rich peanut butter mousse, topped with chocolate ganache and roasted peanuts—it's like a giant Reese's Cup with even more filling! The texture was perfection, with a gooey yet structured filling housed in a handy cup for easy munching. And yes, it even had a hint of Disney magic with its edible gold glitter on top, making it a peanut butter lover's dream come true!
Our only gripe was the $15 tag, which seemed a bit steep. However, given its decadent taste, it was a treat worth trying.
