If you’ve visited Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort, you’re likely familiar with Trail’s End Restaurant, a quick-service spot recently revamped and known for snacks like cupcakes and Mickey ice cream bars. Today, we're sampling a new treat from there!

Say hello to the Apple Hand Pie at $6.29, boasting a flaky crust and an apple-cinnamon filling. This pie, although larger than a McDonald’s pie, isn’t served warm—a letdown for sure. The crust is delightfully flaky, albeit a bit dry, while the filling offers tender apples and sweet cinnamon syrup but could really use more filling. It’s sugary crust adds a nice crunchy texture.

Despite these slight flaws, if you're at Fort Wilderness, this could satisfy your apple pie craving. Would you agree it measures up to McDonald’s version? Share your thoughts!
