Disneyland Resort has a ton of dining options, and there's something for everyone! Deciding where to eat can be tough, but we're here to make it easier. We regularly review restaurants to give you the latest info for your trip. Today, we're at Poultry Palace in Disney California Adventure to decide if it should be on your "must-try" list!
Located on Pixar Pier, Poultry Palace draws inspiration from the Pixar short, "Toy Story Toon: Small Fry." Just look for the purple and orange carry-out container across from Jessie’s Critter Carousel. Let’s explore what’s on the menu!
The menu at Poultry Palace is simple but satisfying, featuring items like Chicken Drumstick Box, Smoked Turkey Leg, Corn on the Cob, and a selection of drinks. This summer, they’re also offering a Chimichanga, which you might not want to skip.
First up, we tried the Chicken Drumstick Box for $10.99. It includes three drumsticks and a side of slaw, which was tart and crunchy—a big hit with us. However, only one drumstick was juicy and flavorful, while the others were dry.
Next, the Jumbo Smoked Turkey Leg for $12.99 was quite disappointing—dry, with inedible skin. The Chili-Lime Corn on the Cob for $5.59 had too much spice, but opting for the buttered version might be more enjoyable.
The Chimichanga was the standout item and worth coming back for—it was perfectly flaky and packed with filling.
Would you visit Poultry Palace for a quick bite? The Chimichanga and ease of a grab-and-go snack are enticing. However, if you seek variety, unique dishes, or truly mouth-watering options, it might not be your top choice.
