It’s official: time to party at Epic Universe! We've been exploring the park as much as possible, sampling every snack stand, restaurant, and ride to help you get the most out of your trip.
We've reviewed dishes at Meteor Astropub in Celestial Park. Should you add this to your Epic Universe plans? Let’s dive in!
**Atmosphere**
Meteor Astropub is perfect for beer enthusiasts, cocktail lovers, and burger connoisseurs! Its vibrant, meteor-themed decor of stars and planets gives off nostalgic space vibes. With tables and booths available, it’s a cool spot to relax.
Bronze and teal accents, large windows, and open doors make the space feel bright and refreshing.
**Menu**
The menu offers comfort meals with a modern twist like fish and chips with wasabi fries and grilled cheese with goat cheese. There’s also a great drink selection, including cocktails, beer, and unique mocktails.
We’re waiting on Universal to release the full menu online, but we’ll keep you posted!
**Eats**
We tried the $16.99 Astro Pub Burger. Black Angus beef, American cheese, cherry pepper aioli, and garlic pickles on a potato roll make this a ten-notches-above class burger. It was thick, juicy, with perfectly melted cheese and a flavorful spicy aioli. The crispy and fluffy steak fries perfectly complemented the burger. Sometimes, a theme park day just calls for a good burger!
Next up, the $16.99 Chicken and Waffles. This includes crispy buttermilk chicken on a liege waffle with whisky bacon jam, spiced maple syrup, and fries. Though the chicken was on the dry side, it absorbed the syrup nicely. The waffle paired well with the chicken, though it was also dry. If you enjoy sweet and savory dishes, this could be your go-to!
**Drinks**
We tried the $7 First Light Mocktail. With blue raspberry and vanilla crème syrups, Sprite, and sweet cream cold foam, it’s a fancy soda treat. Pop Rocks add a fun element to the drink, making it enjoyable for everyone.
**Nosh or Not**
Visit Meteor Astropub if you’re looking for a relaxed setting during your theme park day or enjoy familiar flavors with a twist. You might want to skip it if you prefer unique, themed dining experiences.
**Overall**
Meteor Astropub provides comfort food with a twist, offering a cozy escape from the park's hustle. Though the menu is familiar, it serves as a pleasant break with enjoyable meals.
