Exciting new food and drink options have popped up at Disney Springs for the annual Flavors of Florida event, and we've found some of the best yet! Who’s ready to eat?
Flavors of Florida is underway at Disney Springs showcasing locally-sourced Floridian delights. This limited-time event features diverse meals, drinks, sweet treats, and exclusive free culinary demonstrations by top chefs. We couldn't resist checking out a favorite restaurant that's offering something special just for the event.
The popular Summer House on the Lake at Disney Springs quickly became a favorite. With a relaxed vibe and mouthwatering dishes, it's perfect for catching up with friends or enjoying a laid-back meal solo.
It's exciting to browse their special Flavors of Florida offerings. The event celebrates Florida's best flavors with over 90 exclusive dishes across 45 restaurants! We were thrilled and knew instantly what to order.
First, we tried the St. Augustine Strawberry Refresher, a flavorful tropical mix of Florida vodka, Aperol, lime juice, pineapple juice, and strawberry purée for $17. The drink's zesty kick and foamy top made it perfect for a relaxed drink with friends.
Next, the ‘Devil Crab’ Croquettes, priced at $15.95, impressed with their flaky blue crab and garlicky mojo aïoli. Despite the paté-like texture, it was flavorful, especially when paired with the aioli sauce. A perfect appetizer or light main dish!
Finally, the ‘8th Street Frita’ Burger with truffle fries, costing $17.95, was quite a discovery. The prime beef chorizo burger had a chargrilled taste, complemented by crispy potatoes and salsa de tomate, which added a unique roasted tomato flavor. Truffle fries were an excellent choice.
